Recipe for Apple Sauce

I LOVE this recipe! It is so quick and easy. I used to make this a lot for my daughter when she was a baby (I didn't use sugar or cinnamon when I fed it to her as a baby). You can adjust the recipe by adding more/less sugar and cinnamon. Also, you can add a few strawberries to get a yummy strawberry flavored apple sauce; this is my daughters favorite way to eat it. Try adding splenda or a natural sugar for a healthier version.

Cook Time: about 10-15 minutes
Serves: 4

3 Cups of peeled and cut apples
1/4 Cup of water (more for a thinner apple sauce)
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

Put all ingredients into a pan and cook on medium high heat with a lid.

Cook for 10-15 minutes or until apples are very soft.

Mash apples with a fork.

Serve warm or cold.
