There are many ways to make Somali tea, this is the way I make it. You can experiment and try adding more/less ingredients until you find your favorite way.
5 Cups water
2 Tea bags
6 Cardamom Seeds -crushed
1 Teaspoon Cloves -crushed
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Nido for every cup of tea or regular milk
Add water, tea bags, cardamom seeds, cloves and sugar to a teapot. Add the nido to a mug and once the tea boils strain the tea into the mug. Stir well.
For a healthier choice try using splenda instead of sugar and decaffeinated tea bags.
