More Pictures

Here are the last of my pictures I wanted to share and then I will get back to my recipes. Some more items from Somalia such as Uunsi burners and uunsi, which is a like a block of perfume that is burned and releases scent. It is used in the house as an airfreshener but also used as a perfume and clothes are put over the burner and the steam goes onto the clothes. This is usually made my Somali women so each one smells and looks a little different.

Saudi sitting, which is a couch often used by Somalis. They are very comfortable, I love mine. They come with matching stands and sometime even matching curtains and rugs.
